The bus trip to Glasgow was a tremendous success, the journey was a pleasure, we did not notice the distance, and the cathedral was magnificent.
As you entered the building you were overwhelmed by the volume of flowers, the pillars on either side had raised pedestals in graduating colours the length of the nave. Between each pillar were designs depicting famous Scots and industries, side chapels and the lower chapels were over flowing with innovative designs on the theme of Scottish history. The standard of work was amazing and the ideas and interpretation outstanding, the weather, flowers and friendship made it truly a day to remember.
